Applied online end of June/beginning of July.

• First round of interviews was through HireVue. Had to record your answer to 6 STAR-based questions, which was followed by an IQ game that tested your ability to do mental math and your memorization skills.
• Second round was an online coding challenge, with 2 problems. Difficulty level was akin to easy/medium on LeetCode-style problems. They said the time limit is 40 minutes in the email, but you get 30 minutes for each problem.
• Third round was a phone screen. I think this was just a required part of the process, nothing outstanding here; it just gave you the opportunity to touch base with an employee from GM and set up the next round/final round of interviews.
• Last round was 2, 1-hour, Skype interviews with two different managers at GM. The first one was a little more technical than the second, but overall very STAR-based. Make sure you know the projects you've worked on very well and the technologies you used on them and why. The actual interview was about 45 minutes, and they give you about 15 minutes to ask them questions. This round of interviews occurred in mid-August.

After all these rounds, GM took a little over 2 weeks to reach out to me and make their decision, so in total the whole process was a little over 2 months. There were definitely gaps in communication, so be patient.
