Process

I applied online and received an email to complete a HireVue interview in person. You can read the other interview posts to see what they ask specifically.

I received a coding challenge two days later, and you have an hour each to complete two problems. They were super easy, and I completed both in 4 minutes total.

About a month later, I heard back to set up a phone screening, asking how you heard about the job and to answer any questions you had about the position.

About a week later, they reached out to set up two 1-hour interviews through Microsoft Teams. I assume they just assign whomever is available in that time slot to interview you, and I interviewed with two current software engineers. They asked basic STAR questions and a lot of "Describe a time when _______ happened and what was the end result?"

They also asked for more information regarding my projects, like the technologies used and how I liked them, i.e., using AWS, Angular 7 over 8, and such.

After the interview, I didn't hear anything back for a little over two weeks, where they finally reached out with an offer.

They severely lacked communication during the waiting process, but the interviews themselves were fairly straightforward and simple. I wasn't able to answer all the questions to the T, but they still decided to go with me, so don't worry too much.
