Pros: 1. Get to work with some very smart people.
2. Decent compensation and benefits.
Cons: 1. Very bad leadership. They do not practice the values they preach.
2. Work-life balance is messed up quite frequently.
3. Too many responsibilities in on-call rotations.
4. The sudden shift on making everything about AI is hurting the core products of the company.

Pros: Everyone I've met so far at GitHub is very engaging. Even with the remote work culture, the communication is done very well. Work-life balance is great, as everyone is respectful of each other's time zones and life events.
Cons: Haven't been able to meet anyone in person at the company due to COVID.
Other than that, it's been overall positive.
