A while ago it was an aggressively cool place with a lot of vision. Now... it looks good on a resume?
The leadership confuses 'chasing growth' for vision. The most innovative products/features are dead or KTLO while leadership mindlessly chases Copilot (which is already being outdone by Cursor and Windsurf).
They are also pushing for 'performance culture' which would be fine, except they don't state what that means. They're just making folks anxious and ruining morale for no good reason.
Learn how to communicate! You waste so much time being indirect and passive aggressive with your demands. It seems that so much of upper level management wants to avoid being perceived as jerks... but a jerk who is upfront about their demands is actually less of a jerk than someone who avoids giving timely feedback and then later complains about what wasn't done.
You can't have 'performance culture' without some level of 'honest feedback'. You waste everybody's time pretending otherwise.
