I actually liked the interview format, as it was not typical LeetCode.

They asked me to review a PR. I passed that round and was set up to meet the team.

Everything was good until now. I met the manager and some team members and believe the behavioral interview went well as well.

And the radio silence.

Countless emails sent to the recruiter with no reply. This is horrible, as you put effort into preparing for the interviews, and to just be ghosted after that is disgraceful.

All it takes is a simple email to say that the position was filled, or whatever the case.

Found out later that others have experienced similar stuff with GitLab.

Shameful!
