The first communication was with HR. He was very kind and helpful, and then they sent me a code review. You basically review code by writing comments, then meeting one engineer to discuss your review, and then fixing or refactoring the code. It was like a near real-daily work experience. I got good feedback and did a great job, and the position I applied for was closed. I was informed that if a new position opened, I would be considered for that. Then the HR left the company, and that was it. No more communication.
