Really enjoyed my time here until the end, when they started implementing policies that are geared towards less qualified but certain demographics.
Began getting pressure to promote people based on certain appearance characteristics as opposed to merit. The hiring process is more focused on this, and the overall product quality has suffered. They recently announced they're looking to sell, which tells you all you need to know, considering the IPO was in 2021.
I've never understood "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" as it's never about including, and always seems to be about excluding a certain demographic.
Quit bending the knee to woke workers. It's killing the product and everyone's pocketbooks!
Pretty straightforward interview, which is on their handbook. Initial screening, then reviewing a merge request. Technical was with the hiring manager, which is a mix of technical and behavioral. Practice more STAR format questions for this stage.
It wasn’t a great process; lack of coordination. Sets up interviews without knowing the role has been filled or not. The interview was cancelled a few minutes before the actual call.
Technical coding exercise and also culture fit questions, as to be expected in an interview. Clear instructions and good people to interview. I would recommend to anyone thinking of applying. Words words words
