Pros: Actually get to code, provide your own ideas for implementation of project design, lots of smart coworkers, and a pretty modern tech stack (depends on the team).

Cons: Sometimes managers seem too busy to help. Internships slow down at the end. Some days are really slow. I would not recommend it if you're not interested in finance (obviously).

Pros: Actually get to code, provide your own ideas for implementation of project design, lots of smart coworkers, and a pretty modern tech stack (depends on the team).

Cons: The company has just recently begun to digitize and move to the cloud. Big banks tend to be behind big tech and lack real innovation.
