The interview process was smooth and without any excesses.
A few days after submitting these tasks, I got an invitation to their office for the interview. There were three 1-hour interviews:
Web Architecture questions. Some questions about my past experience, the challenges I faced, and how I solved them. They also asked about REST, WebSockets, functional programming, etc.
JavaScript and Algorithms. Firstly, we had a conversation about React patterns and TypeScript. Then, I was asked to solve two DS/Algorithmic problems on a whiteboard (BST and binary search).
Behavioral / System Design. The part I completed the worst because I was not really prepared for it. Some tricky questions like, "What would you do if a manager asks you if you can start a new project right now? You have 5 minutes to think." I started to tell weird things, and I believe I frustrated them. Completely my fault.
Finally, I haven't received any feedback about my interview, even a 'no offer' message.
What would you do if a manager asks you if you can start a new project right now? You have 5 minutes to think.
