Pros: Very flat organization and thus a nimble organization, so leadership can effect firm-wide changes in a matter of months. For example, a firm-wide engineering firm going agile, a firm-wide push to GitLab CI/CD, or Kubernetes. Very thorough feedback: gives employees confidence that they get accurately rewarded for their work.

Cons: Many parts of the organization focus on niche internally facing products that aren't exciting to the typical software engineer (there are, of course, exceptions such as Marcus).

Pros: Allows ownership and independence in driving work.

Cons: I can't think of any cons.

Pros: TL;DR: Recent engineering grads will amass more technical knowledge in their first 2 years working here than they likely will at most other engineering companies. As a recent engineering graduate, you will learn a lot (and fast) due to the fact that most engineering teams tend to be small, comprised of generalists, but deliver a ton of work. This translates to recent grads working across the stack on whatever team they are on and becoming reasonably competent devops/data/backend/front-end engineers. The analyst program is great, especially for new-joiners relocating from outside New York, as it gives them an immediate sense of community.

Cons: The pro above could also become a con, as recent engineering grads on teams that aren't very mindful could suffer from burnout. While you'll grow a broad set of skills that allows you to perform varying engineering roles in your first two years, you'll ultimately find yourself falling behind on newer industry trends (think cloud-computing, SRE, security). A lot of politics prevents engineers from understanding organizational direction and priorities.
