Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, India

Process

HackerRank Coding Test CoderPad Coding Test Weekend drive with 4 back-to-back rounds.

They will email you just before the weekend drive, late at night, expecting you to be available for them all Saturday. They will then reject you without reason.

Apart from this, their earlier rounds took weeks. One week they will send you a HackerRank test, and after two weeks, they will send you a CoderPad invite. Then, after another two weeks, they will suddenly expect the candidate to worship them.

They have a very pathetic recruitment culture.

Questions

The weekend drive mostly consisted of project discussions, with some questions on Java and Angular.

One question was: Given a function sort which takes a dataset and a column, and performs sorting based on it (i.e., sort(dataset, column)), the task was to design another sort that performs sorting on multiple columns using this method.
