HR scheduled a CoderPad round with the link and meeting.

For me, two rounds of CoderPad were scheduled, with only one round per week. I received an email from HR for each session.

They mainly ask coding questions that are available on GeeksforGeeks. If you answer correctly, they will proceed; if you don't, they will reject you.

Round 1: Coderpad - String anagram question. The interviewer wanted me to write an efficient solution. There are many ways to solve it, but I finally wrote what he expected. So, it was fine.

Round 2: Median of Sorted Array. Here also, I wanted to write my own solution, but the interviewer was not okay with it due to space complexity. However, that approach could have solved the problem. He wanted me to think about calculating on the fly. Since I had not encountered this question before, I could not think of the logic properly, and the interview ended.

I don't think this is the right way to judge a candidate, where you see some questions on GeeksforGeeks and ask them, then consider the candidate not up to the mark. This interview process is the worst, I would say. Maybe someone had seen that question and would have answered it the way the interviewer wanted. What is the use of having questions like that? How do you guarantee that someone who has memorized these questions can solve new, complex problems in the industry?
