Software Engineer Interview Experience - India

Process

The first round is a HackerRank test with medium-level difficulty questions. The second is the CoderPad round, which does injustice to most applicants. There is no standard defined by GS for the difficulty level of questions in this round. While one candidate may be asked to find the second largest element in an array, another can be asked questions on Tries with proper coverage of various edge cases.

This is my request to GS to set a defined difficulty level for questions in the CoderPad round, as this round is time-bound. Because of the injustice done in this round, many deserving candidates don’t even make it to the next rounds.
