I took a HackerRank test for a quant position. It included a coding section with two questions and a math section with around eleven questions.
The coding questions were mostly LeetCode medium difficulty and didn't take long to complete in Python. However, the math test presented a greater challenge.
It covered topics such as Linear Algebra, Probability, Statistics, and Calculus. I would suggest brushing up on these areas before taking the HackerRank.
I did not pass to the next portion.
One question they asked was, given a list of trace properties in linear algebra, identify the incorrect property.
