Process

A 2-hour HackerRank coding assessment consisting of an easy question and a hard question.

Once passed, a 1 hour 15 minute interview with an engineer, starting with "Tell me about yourself," followed by two behavioral questions and a technical coding problem.

I stopped the interview with the engineer because he was rude and condescending. He was having a bad day or just a bad attitude, and I did not need to continue enduring his attacks.

Questions

If you were in an elevator with a manager and another employee, and you overheard the manager talking about a close friend of yours who will not be receiving a promotion. Later, your friend asks you if you heard any news about his promotion, what would you do?
