I applied to Goldman online and received an interview invite.
The interview process is very tedious and takes time; mine took almost a month.
Round 1: CoderPad
Round 2: CoderPad
Round 3: Super Day This had three rounds, 45 minutes each, without a break.
Round 1: They asked me about SQL, basic queries for UNIQUE, and how to get the largest element. The "2 Sum," "3 Sum," and "4 Sum" problems were also presented.
Round 2: SDLC principles. This was mostly a summary of my experience and how one gets to production design, unit testing, and the overall working of the software. I felt it was positive, but I guess I failed in answering some questions about database-related unit testing. "Mochito" was the answer.
Round 3: System design round. The interviewer shared a document with a futures problem and asked how I would reduce total transactions over the system to save company money. There were also some leadership principles questions and one about my approach to using React and Angular JS.
Received an email from HR that I was not selected.
