After that, I had a live coding test with a very young interviewer who didn't even know JavaScript. It was more like teaching the interviewer than having a test. He didn't even understand how my program worked, although it was only a few lines of code. I think he wanted to show that he had strong technical knowledge and insisted there would be performance issues with my program. His knowledge was truly ridiculous.

I didn't want to argue with him, so I requested a performance comparison between my program and his suggested approach. He refused and seemed pissed off due to his hurt pride. I realized he was from the Hong Kong office and didn't expect to proceed to the next interview, even though I completed my program perfectly. I knew he was upset because his pride was hurt.

Goldman Sachs, please send an experienced person for coding tests, like other companies do, and hire individuals who have a good attitude. This was my worst technical interview experience, and I learned how poor the technical staff are at this company.
