The recruiting experience wasn't great because the whole process took 4 months. After the onsite interviews, I emailed them for an update so many times, but they did not answer any of my emails. They got back with an offer 2 months after the onsite.

Pros: Working here has given me exposure to a lot of financial concepts and the ability to develop software closely with Quants. I am always surrounded by great people at the company.
Cons: It shows that Goldman is a financial institution through the deadlines set on projects which have an outrageous turnaround time.
Expectation is to be back in the office full-time with little to no flexibility.
