Process

A recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and set up a phone screen.

The technical phone interview used a coding tool, and the questions were of easy/average difficulty.

Note that at GS, the VP Engineering position is similar to a Senior Software Engineer at a tech company.

I declined a subsequent in-person interview.

Questions

The interview included questions using the Coderpad interface, where you had to write a small program with test cases.

My interview had three questions:

a) A program to determine prime factors of a number. b) Is a number a power of ten? c) The nth number in the Fibonacci series.
