I received an email from a recruiter and was scheduled for a telephonic interview with the team.
Overall, the interview process was smooth. It was a medium-level difficulty interview. The interviewer was very friendly, and I believe I did well. However, it seems the interviewer didn't think so.
The only disturbing fact was the dead silence after the interview. Despite sending two follow-up emails, there has been no response from the recruiter. If they have decided to reject me, it would have been better if they had informed me.
If anyone in Goldman HR is reading, I would suggest finding a subtle way to say that it will take more time, or something else. I guess people will understand and it might also protect them.
I normally don't write reviews, but...
