Stressful but many opportunities for learning
There are many different technologies used at Goldman Sachs. Overall, the tech stack is modern, with many opportunities to learn. Pay is decent for the DFW area.
Very stressful working environment. There is constantly a push to make "impact," and politics play a large role in the promotion process. Management is quick to blame when something goes wrong, but does nothing to celebrate accomplishments. Senior team members with a long tenure at GS are allowed to treat others however they want without repercussions.
