Big company with lots of opportunities
GS is huge, so there is a lot of opportunity to move around if and when you want to do something new. A lot of smart people are working all around the globe.
It's a bank first and a tech company second, so you miss a lot of the benefits you would see working at a normal tech company (work-life flexibility, casual dress code, hybrid in-office policies, etc).
Compensation is not transparent at all and is completely dependent on the markets and the performance of the company in general, making your total compensation unpredictable.
