The products don't typically excite engineers, but it's a great place to work
Very flat organization and thus a nimble organization, so leadership can effect firm-wide changes in a matter of months.
For example, a firm-wide engineering firm going agile, a firm-wide push to GitLab CI/CD, or Kubernetes.
Very thorough feedback: gives employees confidence that they get accurately rewarded for their work.
Many parts of the organization focus on niche internally facing products that aren't exciting to the typical software engineer (there are, of course, exceptions such as Marcus).
Pushing for software products that not only support business but are the business brings with it interesting challenges for engineering and other disciplines.
