Pros

Decent salary, well-educated, and eloquent people. A great place to work in IT if you have minimal or no tech skills, but you like to talk a lot about things that should be done instead of doing them.

Cons

Proprietary technology - no reusable skills. Long hours on the phone (as a software engineer) instead of development/design. Most people never worked anywhere else. This is not because they are so good, but rather they wouldn't get a job anywhere else. Perfect GS strategy to keep employees.

Advice to Management

Instead of hiring two mediocre people, find a single decent person.
