Terrible HR, outdated firm

Pros

They pay a lot, and I didn't experience much stress working there.

Cons

The interview process took 5 months – 4 of them after they already told me I'd get an offer.

I had to wait a whole month for an offer, another for a contract, and another for the background check.

I was ready to start working immediately, but they couldn't make it any faster, and there was no one to talk to about it.

They have a very outdated way of thinking: that all seniors must be managers. After a year at the firm, they started strongly pushing me to be a manager, even though I had no relevant skills and no desire to be one.

Their technology is quite outdated, and they use too many legacy systems.

Advice to Management

Not everyone should be a manager.
