Name recognition and compensation. If you're looking to get highly paid as a technologist for mediocre work, Goldman is the place to be.
Too much support work, too little software engineering. There is a lack of communication and knowledge of the systems.
"Trial by fire" is how I mostly learn about things here. People don't know about the systems, so it's a "dig through the code" process here whenever there are problems.
Not the place to be if you are a pure technologist. However, Goldman pays well for such mediocre work.
Improve training and documentation of the critical systems.
Methodical. Very rigorous and well-planned. Some junior people were present, but the right fit is essential. Some interviewers have little experience and lack proper interpersonal skills. Nothing is more irritating than having someone check their B
2 Medium DSA Questions: 1. On Hashmap: Simple iteration over an array and searching the hashmap. 2. Shortest Path Algorithm: Finding the source to destination in minimum steps. Follow-up questions included time complexity and how the approach coul
Two coding questions of easy-medium level. The interviewer was very friendly and made me comfortable. One question was based on hash maps, and the other was a math-based problem involving rotation in a cycle.
