Wow, upper management is really pushing for top tech. This is awesome if you are in the Tech or Starts division. I hear high-performing analysts this year received around a 40k bonus and a 30% salary increase, which is unprecedented. I'm not sure how they compensated people at higher levels. Upper management is trying to match other tech companies' compensation to compete for top people now.
In some teams, expect to work multiple weekends and also stay late. On an average day, people leave around 7 PM. Some people log back in when they get home.
Keep investing in tech; it is the future and will pay off. From talking to my colleagues, I expect to see a big decrease in the poaching of analyst employees now that compensation matches that of other top tech companies.
Also, we should step up the perk game. We are still light years behind other tech companies. (but don't take it out of my bonus, lol)
