Salary is solid, with a very prestigious company. The staff are smart, and the structure is fairly egalitarian. No huge egos are allowed. Layoffs are kept to a minimum as of now compared to other top-tier banking firms. Your individual team tends to be knowledgeable and helpful toward each other.
Still a fairly hierarchical work structure. Longer hours. Higher than average pressure to stay within the company line, not to push too hard outside the company box. Sometimes you can feel guilty for leaving early, even if you have your personal work done. Like other financial companies, technology can often be treated as second-class citizens compared to the main "players" on the front lines: investment banking, trading.
