Fair organization when dealing with staff and their issues. A lot of managers are compassionate and willing to assist staff, especially when an issue may arise.
Long hours, 24x7 culture. It takes time to be promoted, and there is a culture of cliques in certain organizations within the firm. Although feedback is given, sometimes it's more of a process than a collaborative effort to improve someone professionally.
Don't assume that you know the answer to every question you ask. Solicit more opinions from the staff on the ground. They are competent and know what they are doing. Delegate responsibility.
