A lot of posturing as a tech company, but not much to show for it
- Prestigious name
- Windfall compensation (some years)
- Some brilliant co-workers, from every pocket of the world and New York
- Terribly political.
- Incompetent, non-technical leadership heading technical organizations.
- Opaque compensation process with mandatory tiering, which is illegal in some countries.
- A lot of fairly stupid colleagues chasing Patrick Bateman fantasies.
Start walking the walk about being a tech company. Throw out the 19th/early 20th-century titles, hire leadership from tech companies, and get out of their way for at least ten years.
