Database Administration Interview Experience - Mountain View, California
Process
This was an interview on the IT end, not R&D.
They were not prepared on their end, and the interviewer hadn't even read my resume prior to the interview.
I was interviewing for a role in operations, something I hadn't done in a few years, and had stressed this to the HR rep when first contacted.
The interview consisted of minute details about database administration (certification-style questions), things one could easily look up in docs.
I was quite rusty, so it came as no surprise that we didn't move forward.
Questions
Minute details regarding Database Administration.
Details regarding basic LINUX administration.
