I was recently interviewed.
Round 1: HR Screening I was asked a few basic technical questions based on my profile before qualifying for the next round.
Round 2: Technical (On-site) This round was scheduled over Google Hangouts (video call) with an on-site engineer for about 45 minutes. My interview lasted for 37 minutes, in which I was asked 4 technical questions. I felt only one was related to my expertise.
Final Conclusion: I felt the screening round had more technical questions than Round 2.
I am confused about whether to be happy or sad for not passing Round 2.
Suggestion: It's Google; questions can come from anywhere and may not be related to your profile. Be prepared.
