Process

The standard Google interview process for a software engineer typically involves:

  • A phone screen interview (via Google Docs/Hangouts).
  • An onsite interview, which consists of six interviews.

Following the initial onsite, I was asked to return for two additional interviews.

The interviews covered a mixture of algorithm, embedded software-specific, and design questions. There was also a "soft skills/leadership" type interview.

Questions

Typical big tech algorithm questions with some embedded Qs mixed in.
