Process

There were two rounds of interviews.

Both rounds were technical and lasted around 45 minutes each. Questions covered basic digital electronics, computer organization and architecture, Verilog coding, and C++.

Questions

In the first round, I was asked questions on:

  • Base conversions
  • Cache and secondary memory
  • Flip-flops and latches
  • C++ recursion

In the second round, I was asked four questions:

  1. The interviewer provided a sequential circuit and asked me to draw its output.
  2. I was asked to write the next-state equation from a given FSM.
  3. I was given a Verilog code.
  4. Finally, I had to draw a sequential circuit.
