I went through five 45-minute sessions with five different people.
Mostly, we solved riddles on a whiteboard. We also did some diagram drawing and general architecture discussions, including databases and distributed networks, which, as a front-end engineer, I obviously have nothing to do with.
Overall, the interview felt very generic and impersonal. This was unlike my interview at Facebook, for example, where they knew what I specialized in and were excited to bring me in to work on specific projects.
As a front-end engineer specializing in JavaScript, I was interviewed by people who don't necessarily work with JavaScript or do any front-end work.
The riddles were about abstract problems and were generally, in my opinion, medium-hard difficulty.
