Phone Interview

Currently, this is my first round of technical interviews. It took me 50 minutes via a phone call. Another phone interview is scheduled for next week. The overall process is mainly about my publications on my resume.

1. Ask me about my previous projects.

2. For one of my top-tier publications, I was asked to introduce how I proposed to address my research topic.

3. During the introduction of my work, a list of related questions was asked, for example: What is my opinion of the state-of-the-art methods in my research area? Also, I had to briefly summarize their solutions.

4. A list of technical questions was also asked, pertaining to the basic knowledge in my work.

5. My research interests and planned topics.
