I arrived 20 minutes early and waited for two people to interview me. I was contracting through a third party and had been asked if I would interview for an Operations Engineer/Technician role at the Google Pryor, Oklahoma Data Center. So, I waited in an empty office.
An hour later, six people showed up, lugging boxes in and dropping them in the corner. Then they all interviewed me. They were polite but very hasty; there were no warm-up questions. They went straight to basic Cisco IOS command questions.
I felt like they were just going through the motions and had no intention of even considering me for the position. I should have just left before they even got there to interview me. I could have spent that hour searching for better opportunities.
