My process started in March and I received an offer in September, which was quite a long time. I didn't get the first role I interviewed for (from March to May).
The recruiter contacted me a few weeks later, and we started a new process for a different role (from June to September) with a team led by one of my previous interviewers.
At every step of the process, communication with the recruiter was excellent and open, so I always knew what to expect, who I was going to meet, and why. The interviewers were very nice, and I enjoyed answering their questions and learning about their backgrounds.
I ended up refusing other offers from different companies because Google was my first choice, although the process took longer than I expected. Be patient; it is worth it!
