Two back-to-back 45-minute phone interviews were conducted.
Coding was done in Google Docs.
The first interview was extremely frustrating because the interviewer had me on speakerphone. Whenever I asked questions or explained my thought process, I would hear my echo. It was also very difficult to understand my interviewer; she also had an Asian accent, which did not help.
The second interview went much better. I could clearly speak with and listen to the interviewer. The questions were moderately challenging. While conceptually simple, the hard part was coming up with a solution that worked and made sense.
My recommendation is to NOT have interviewers put you on speaker. It is very frustrating and makes the interview difficult.
I am still awaiting my feedback and will update when I find out.
