Pros: Good work-life balance. Nice culture.

Cons: Pay is not competitive. Promo is slow.

Pros: Google does value its employees and offers great benefits and perks. People are considerate and respectful. Offices have nice decor and give you the feeling of a college campus.

Cons: It's a big company, and as with all big companies, there is politics. Career growth is slower than in smaller companies.

Pros: Work with great people. Incredible scope and impact. Good benefits (base salary, stocks, healthcare, etc.). Food and amenities on campus. Great open culture. Founders are holding Q&A every week.

Cons: It's a big company, and to have a big impact, you need to apply some effort. The promotion process is: you basically PR and promote yourself (again, some effort). Nobody will promote you, and you need to work on it yourself – collecting success stories and writing an essay why you should be promoted. Crowded office. A lot of people are being hired for the MTV, CA office. High compensation is offset by huge rent or real estate prices. Or choose a long commute. Healthcare benefits are getting worse and worse (because the company is unwilling to pay for the "Cadillac" tax).
