Process
I secured an on-site interview for an SDE intern position, not a phone screen.
I believe this was mainly because I live close to their office.
The interviewers were nice, but they couldn't move forward with my application.
It seems there's a one-year cooldown period if you've failed an on-site interview. I tried applying again, but I received no response.
Questions
How would you design Facebook? Use the data structure to show the social network and find people who are close to you but with whom your relation is stranger (whiteboard coding).
We have m slots for ads and n ads. Each ad will have different revenue on different slots. Design an algorithm to find the best fit (find m ads in n ads and order them so that they can make maximum money; whiteboard coding).
