Process
Google uses third-party recruiters instead of in-house staff. The recruiters were less knowledgeable than those at other FAANG-level companies. The interview did not involve any domain knowledge. I passed the algorithms portion, but they offered an entry-level L3 position instead of the L5 we had initially agreed to. This was a down-level bait and switch tactic. One interviewer showed up in her pajamas.
