I only made it to the first round through a recruiter.

The first round was a call with an engineer. They had me share my screen and ask me about an easy or medium LeetCode question, with about 50 minutes to complete it.

I finished right on the 50-minute mark. I guess I wasn’t fast enough because we rushed through the final 10 minutes of the interview. I received a rejection the next day.

I double-checked my code in an editor later, and it wasn’t the best, but it completed the question.

Even though they say 50 minutes, try to complete it quicker so you can iterate on your solution.
