A Google interview typically consists of:

• 1 Phone screening (15 minutes)
• 1 Technical screening (45 minutes)
• 4-5 onsite rounds (45 minutes each)

Mine included 4 rounds: 3 technical and 1 behavioral.

Make a time schedule. Time is restricted in most interviews, from 45 minutes to 1 hour; at Google, it's really strict.

My time allocation was:

• 10 minutes: Introduction and understanding the question
• 5-10 minutes: Discussing the approach
• 10 minutes: Writing down the code
• 5 minutes: Dry-running the code with an example
• Remaining time: Complexity and bug-fixing discussion
