Contrary to a lot of what I'd heard about the inefficiency of the Google interviewing process, it went really well for me.
It started with a recruiter who went over all your basic information and resume details and provided a list of study materials.
This was followed by 1-2 phone interviews and then an onsite interview if you made it past the phone screens.
The resources given by the recruiter and all of the information you can find online are more than enough to succeed at the interviews. However, remember that Google picks the smartest people in the world.
Personally, I did not make it past my first phone screen. However, I was offered an interview with their Engineering Residency program, which sounds promising. I will update with a review for that after it happens.
I am still in the process, so I would rather not state the specific question. I will update once it is over.
