Process
The recruiter found my profile on an application list and contacted me by phone to discuss the process. After a couple of discussions, we agreed on one month for preparation time. The interview schedule was also shared, set for a date a month from then (as I had requested).
They will also be providing preparation materials. To be frank, you might find a better preparation strategy on Medium blogs or YouTube.
The process includes five "onsite" virtual Hangouts interviews:
- 3 Data Structures/Algorithms
- 1 System Design
- 1 Googleyness and Leadership
Questions
Given an array stream of 1's and 0's like '101110111000010'. Also, assume this is in a database, and we have an API called query(indexOne, indexTwo), which returns whether the range contains a 1 or not. Give an algorithm to efficiently find how many 1's are in the stream.
