- Layoffs, budget cuts, and compensation cuts have become the norm.
- A regressive, micro-managed, top-down culture, the complete opposite of what it used to be.

Cons: Working at Google can quickly become overwhelming with the amount of knowledge you need to keep up with, especially if you switch teams often.
