Pros: Good company, great perks and benefits.

Cons: I can’t think of any cons.

Pros: Working with the smartest people in the world. The amount of perks and bonuses is incredible. Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a lot of choice.

Cons: The leadership seems completely detached from the engineers and the users. Constant fear of being laid off. You have to deliver new shiny things for recognition and promotion. Working with the best means hard competition for promotion.

Pros: Zero politics, awesome products, and an open and supportive culture. Getting to play with the internal infrastructure is amazing. Many things still happen at a grassroots level, so you can really help shape the company and its products. Employees are encouraged to openly question and debate if the company is doing the right thing. In my group, management is almost nonexistent, which I think is a good thing. Getting to work at an engineering center in downtown Manhattan. Perks are as good as everyone says.

Cons: There is a massive learning curve, and it can take months to become a contributing member of the team. Working in C++ is slow and painful. Engineers could sometimes explain things better.
