The recruiters were highly professional and friendly, and did not ignore candidates. However, they did not proactively inform candidates about screening interview failures. It was necessary to reach out to them for that news and feedback.
I was asked a DSA Leetcode-style question, which was not stepped through. I was asked about possible Big O time complexity before I could work on the algorithm, which threw me off. Having worked at Google for two years prior, I can say the DSA they ask for is pretty much irrelevant to the real job, but this is a well-known controversy, and I remain neutral on the subject.
Prepare for a potentially bad interviewer. I'm sure there are many good ones, but I was apparently unlucky. The challenge was presented in a very confusing manner which still makes no sense to me. The interviewer seemed to find my confusion amusing, which was mainly down to me being neurodivergent and, naturally, very stressed. This did not help my confidence at all.
DSA question, almost certainly on LeetCode.
