I applied online.
The technical interview itself went fine. I completed the DSA problem, explained my approach with an example, and provided the solution. However, the interviewer’s behavior was disappointing. They did not respond to my initial greeting, repeatedly rolled their eyes during the interview, and appeared visibly annoyed when I asked them to repeat something I couldn’t understand. They also started the interview by complaining about why this was a first-round interview. I understand interviews are meant to be challenging, but professionalism and respectful communication should go both ways. I applied because it was Google, and I’m not concerned about the outcome. This was simply not the interview experience I expected from Google.
